Job Description

This is an entry-level position in professional human services work. The successful candidate will receive training in the basic principles, methods, and techniques of this field.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop skills in counseling, criminal justice, human services, psychology, social work, social welfare, sociology, or other behavioral sciences.
  • Write clear and comprehensive reports and documents.
  • Read and interpret complex written material.
  • Solve complex problems logically and systematically.
Requirements
  1. Citizenship, nationality, or permanent resident alien status in the United States.
  2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours in relevant courses.
  3. No history of sexual abuse or harassment, or resignation during a pending investigation.
  4. No civil or administrative adjudication for sexual abuse or harassment.
  5. No substantiated allegations of sexual abuse or harassment.
Additional Requirements
  • Pass a drug screening test as required by federal, state, or local laws, or departmental policy.
  • Undergo an intensive background check.
