A well-established Tier 3 commercial construction company based in Brisbane is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to take full ownership of a newly created role.

With a growing pipeline of projects and expanding complexity, this is a key position designed to support the continued success and ensure high standards across all sites.

About The Role

This is a role offering the opportunity to shape, lead, and refine HSE systems and processes across a diverse project portfolio. You'll be the go-to HSE lead, working closely with site teams, project managers, and leadership to drive safety compliance and cultural improvement across all current and future sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage HSE across active sites
  • Conduct regular site audits and ensure ISO and regulatory compliance
  • Work collaboratively with site managers (particularly on high-risk sites)
  • Develop and implement robust safety systems and processes
  • Balance on-site presence with time in the office to drive continuous improvement

About You:
  • Strong background in HSE within commercial construction
  • Demonstrated experience managing audits and working within ISO frameworks
  • Comfortable travelling to multiple sites in the Greater Brisbane area
  • Proven ability to implement and refine safety processes
  • Certificate IV in WHS/OHS
  • Strong communication skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach to on-site safety
