We're looking for a Control Assurance Manager to help us lead the way.

What you'll do:

  • Support and implement automated controls that improve risk and compliance outcomes across Retail Banking Services (RBS).
  • Support change initiatives by ensuring new and evolving processes are underpinned by robust automated controls.
  • Lead continuous assurance efforts, helping to embed a proactive, data-driven approach to risk management.
  • Conduct and manage Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including test script development and reporting on findings.

What you'll bring:

We're looking for someone who's curious, analytical, and passionate about making a difference.

  • Proven experience in automated/application control testing or IT general controls, with a strong operational risk mindset.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a knack for using data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and implementation testing.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills – you know how to bring people on the journey.
  • A strategic thinker who can identify risks and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Leadership capability and a collaborative, professional approach.
  • Bonus: Advanced data analytics or programming skills.
