About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Advanced Child Care Worker to join our Preschool at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College.

This role is vital to our preschool, which offers a nurturing environment for children and a supportive setting for staff to deliver quality care and education.

Reporting to the Preschool Director, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff, and management to achieve the best outcomes
  • Contributing to the educational program under the Preschool Director's guidance to ensure high-quality experiences for all children
  • Assisting with the smooth operation of the room in accordance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Essential Criteria
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Certificates
  • Experience working as a Child Care Worker in an education and care setting, with contributions to educational programming
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Professional and personal integrity
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
