Wood is recruiting for experienced and qualified Painter Blasters and Lagger professionals in the Portland region. We are seeking individuals with expertise in the following positions:

• Trade Painters. (Industrial Painter/ Blasters)
• Lagger / Insulator
  
  

You will work alongside multi-discipline teams delivering structural upgrades, equipment changeouts, and process improvements in complex brownfield conditions.

To be considered, applicants must have full Australian working rights.

Wood is recruiting for skilled and motivated Trade Painters (Industrial Painter/ Blasters) and Lagger / Insulators.

Location: Portland, Victoria - site based

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

• Minium 2-5 years' experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Brownfield experience highly regarded
• Previous experience in heavy manufacturing / industrial or continuous production environment is preferred
• Cert 3 in surface preparation is highly desirable
• Trade Painter certified
• Extensive Insulation experience
• Working at heights
• Confined space
• Construction card
• Driver's License
• High attention to safety, quality and team collaboration
• Previous experience with permit to work processes within hazardous areas
• Proven ability to follow and imbue good HSE principles and behaviours
• Proven ability to work within a team
• Personnel located within the Portland Region, or greater western Victoria is considered advantageous.
