Role – SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Salary: AUD 150,742- 171,215 (Annual Gross)

Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions for a major education services client in Australia. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP architecture, cross-functional integration, and public cloud deployment, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of the education sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the overall solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
Conduct fit-to-standard workshops and guide the client through SAP best practices.
Design scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions tailored to the education sector.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration across modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Plant Maintenance).
Provide strategic input on SAP roadmap, innovations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and public cloud deployment standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and project leadership.

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL

Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

PREFERRED

Background in accounting/finance (preferred)
Full lifecycle project experience (preferred)
Previous experience with integration between SAP and other systems (both cloud and on-premise)
Actively provide solutions for any technical issues and challenges
Preparation of quality key Project Artefacts/Deliverables including Detailed Design, UT & ST Test Cases, Prepare run sheet & Backout plans
Play lead role in supporting SIT, UAT & BVT, and Change Requests
Experienced in IT Service management including risk management

ADDITIONAL

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
