We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join a not-for-profit organisation. This is a broad role where you'll be involved in a variety of accounting functions, playing a key part in supporting our mission.

We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join a not-for-profit organisation. This is a broad role where you'll be involved in a variety of accounting functions, playing a key part in supporting our mission.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing credit card processing and reconciliation.
  • Handling capital expenditure (capex) accounting.
  • Preparing and processing accounting journals.
  • Assisting with treasury functions.
  • Overseeing the accounting for car purchasing and fleet.
  • Contributing to general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.

You're a detail-oriented and adaptable accounting professional ready to contribute to a meaningful cause.

You'll Have
  • Experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with the duties outlined above, including credit card processing, capex, journal entries, and treasury functions.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
