Are you passionate about dentistry and eager to start a rewarding career in healthcare? Our Dental Assistant Traineeship Program provides an excellent opportunity to kickstart your journey in dental healthcare while making a positive impact on our community.
We are hiring for the 2025 program in the following locations:
- NSW: Brookvale & Bondi
- VIC: Melbourne
- ACT: Belconnen
Program/Role Overview
- Duration: Our comprehensive traineeship program spans 12 months, during which you will receive hands-on training and valuable industry insights.
- Paid Learning: We offer a competitive salary to our trainees throughout the program.
- Skill Development: Work closely with Dentists, Hygienists, and experienced Dental Assistants. Responsibilities include instrument sterilization, maintaining a clean clinical environment, preparing rooms for treatment, greeting patients, scheduling follow-ups, and entering patient details.
- Classroom Training: Attend sessions through TAFE to expand your theoretical knowledge of dental healthcare. Course fees are fully covered by HCF.
- Certification: Upon successful completion, receive a recognized certification to enhance your employability.
About You
We seek candidates with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to support our Dental teams seamlessly. You should have:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients quickly
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
- A desire to learn and passion for healthcare
- Ability to work in a structured team environment
- Capability to complete Cert III in Dental Assisting
