This is a permanent part-time (0.4 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026.

Dardanup Primary School (PS) is a small, rural school located 20 km south east of Bunbury in the foothills of Ferguson Valley, and provides educational opportunities for the whole child from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role

Are you a passionate educator of Science, Design and Technology with a flair for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)? Dardanup PS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a deep understanding and a passion for engaging students from Pre-primary to Year 6 and fostering a deep understanding of the Sciences to join our collaborative team. We are looking for an exceptional teacher to support and further develop our STEM program, and as such we value your leadership qualities and your ability to establish outstanding relationships with staff, students and the wider community.

Dardanup PS promotes a contemporary learning environment that empowers students to learn, grow and thrive. This focus means you will be self-reflective and committed to your own professional growth, using opportunities to gather, analyse and assess system, whole-of-school and classroom-based student achievement data in order to make evidence-based decisions about your own teaching practice, as well as the practice of collaborative teams, with a relentless focus on improving outcomes for all students.

The utilisation of peer and classroom observations and feedback to support professional development will form an important aspect of this role, as will the capacity to work as an active and effective member of a collaborative team, by sharing experiences and resources, responding to feedback and demonstrating an ongoing commitment to professional development. Teachers who have additional expertise in key whole school approaches will be viewed favourably. These approaches include Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), 'I Do' explicit teaching model and Psychosocial Assessment Tool (PAT) assessment.
