Caval Ridge Project in Moranbah, QLD is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Leading Hand to step into a key leadership role on site. This is your chance to work with a high-performing team in one of Australia's most productive coal mines, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow.

• Support the Production Supervisor by leading a mining crew to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
• Step up as a supervisor when needed.
• Perform regular inspections and complete reports as per site policies.
• Coordinate dispatch personnel, production operators, and equipment to meet production schedules.
• Apply mining practices to help reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Look for ways to continuously improve.

• Experience as a Step-Up Supervisor or Leading Hand in open-cut coal mining is highly valued.
• Solid understanding of open-cut coal mining operations.
• Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills with a friendly and motivational approach.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Relevant qualifications in the coal mining industry.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts) LMS documents, signed by SSE or Delegate.
• Current S123 and G2 certifications
• Current Standard 11
• Current Drivers Licence
