ARKit is a design and build group specializing in high-quality, customized prefabricated building solutions. Based in Melbourne, ARKit collaborates with clients to develop sustainable, hand-crafted prefabricated buildings for residential and commercial applications. We offer a comprehensive range of consultancy and construction services for prefabrication, including the design and delivery of buildings to Passive House standards. Our projects are designed and built in Melbourne for delivery throughout Australia and overseas.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Supervisor, initially located at our project in Epping, VIC. The Site Supervisor will assist the Senior Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to ARKit's high-quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and reporting on project progress. The Site Supervisor will also work closely with the design and project management teams throughout the construction of the project.

Key Criteria

  • Minimum 4 years of local construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local building and construction practices
  • Proven experience in high-end architectural new builds and residential renovations/additions
  • Trade qualification in carpentry or building (preferred)
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident coordinating subcontractors and managing site logistics
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance
  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in delivering accurate, high-quality carpentry work
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
  • Familiar with relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards
  • Committed to site safety and compliance with ARKit's OHS Policy
