Looking for experienced Banking Project Managers for a Core Banking Application Migration for a Major Australian Bank. This role will include the management of internal and external stakeholders, management of a technical project team, and liaising across multiple streams of work. Focus will be on key delivery dates and meeting customer expectations, ensuring that the objectives and outcomes are met within agreed timeframes, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Coordinate and triage incoming work requests; Manage estimation and resource assignment; Create and manage project schedules; Perform regular risk assessments and risk management; Develop regular status reports; Work closely with the project team, understanding their competing priorities; Manage the project through testing and implementation phases; Complete project closure activities.
Skills
Must have
- 5-10 years of experience in Project Management within the Banking and Finance domain
- A proven track record of successful project delivery
- People and team leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple project assignments simultaneously
- Solid knowledge of the Banking and Finance industry
- Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
- Disciplined and organized approach
- Eagerness to learn, good initiative, and flexibility
- Willingness to teach and share skills with team members
Nice to have
- Experience in Hogan delivery projects
