Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Position Profile: As part of the Digital and Data Innovation (DDI) team, the Strategy and Architecture Manager is responsible for transforming the technological capabilities of WACHS.

This Role Is Accountable For

• Developing and leading the strategic direction of enterprise architecture across WACHS.
• Managing the development, maintenance and application of standardised methods and procedures to ensure the efficient handling of enterprise solutions, data and application integrations, and technical architecture activities throughout WACHS.
• Participating in the development and approvals process for local WACHS ICT improvement and enhancement initiatives, and where required escalate these to Health Support Services as part of WA Health's broader digital transformation journey.
• Investigating, researching and evaluating the appropriateness of emerging industry architecture practices and technologies and identifying any critical issues or opportunities for development and recommending best practice approaches.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
