As the Senior Fellowship Experience Coordinator for the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity (AFSE), you'll play a crucial role in supporting Indigenous-led leadership development. You'll have the opportunity to foster a vibrant community of Senior Fellows, coordinate impactful events, and contribute to social change on a global scale. This role offers you the chance to work with diverse stakeholders, manage complex projects, and elevate Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Nurture Senior Fellow Community: Maintain an engaged network connected to the global Atlantic Fellows community, building relationships and solving problems.
- Coordinate Impactful Events: Organise a range of global, national, and local activities, both in-person and online, respecting diverse Indigenous cultural protocols.
- Support Program Execution: Assist in implementing the Senior Fellow program, focusing on project execution and elevating Indigenous thought leadership.
- Manage Resources and Communications: Provide critical advice on programming logistics, manage budgets, and facilitate culturally sensitive communications within the community.

You are a dedicated professional with strong cultural competence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while fostering relationships within diverse Indigenous communities.
You may also:
- Have completed a degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Possess demonstrated knowledge and lived experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Māori and/or Pacific Island communities and cultures.
- Have experience in community building, event coordination, or alumni programs.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Be able to work effectively in a team and contribute to improving administrative systems.
