  • Multiple full-time fixed term contracts until 31 December 2025
  • Salary range: $100,080 - $112,143 per annum plus 17% superannuation

About the role

As the Senior Project Officer: Course Development & Migration, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and successful implementation of programs and courses at Adelaide University. Each Senior Project Officer manages a portfolio of assigned disciplines and acts as the first point of contact for Academic Transition Panel members.

As a discipline lead for course development and migration, you will coordinate project deliverables, resources, risks and reporting. You will contribute to refining the processes supporting course development and migration to ensure critical paths and deliverables are achieved.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with university staff and external stakeholders
  • Develop and define project scopes, manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Prepare detailed reports, progress updates, and presentations
  • Monitor and review project deliverables for scope, time, and budget compliance
  • Analyse and communicate program benefits to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to IMO project methodologies and templates

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven project management skills, coordinating large-scale complex projects within scope, timeframes, quality and budgets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise and reconcile broad and detailed information
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience facilitating discussions and workshops
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • High-level organisational skills, initiative, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
About the Curriculum Domain

The Integration Management Office (IMO) has established functional areas which are referred to as Domains. Each Domain is responsible for executing tasks and producing deliverables that are crucial to the establishment of the new Adelaide University.

The Curriculum Domain is responsible for managing Curriculum Design, and Transition, including Program and Course Development, supported by Learning & Teaching Technologies. The Domain aims to develop an attainment-based, comprehensive, and contemporary curriculum for Adelaide University through wide collaboration that is underpinned by a sophisticated digital learning management and delivery capability that would enable an enhanced, consistent, and flexible learning experience for students regardless of learning modality.
