What you'll do:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
  • Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations
  • Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Respond to bookkeeping queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues
  • Assist with managing client relationships and ongoing communications
  • Apply your knowledge of current accounting practices and industry trends
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery

What you'll do:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

What you'll bring:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in Xero and MYOB AccountRight
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Working knowledge of GST
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent client service and communication abilities
  • A self-motivated, independent approach
