Overnight Vet Nurse - Greencross Vet Centre

Greencross Vet Centre is seeking Vet Nurses for our overnight shifts. This role is based in Norwood and offers part-time or full-time opportunities for after-hours (night) work. Casual Veterinary Nurses will also be considered.

Overview

We provide a supportive, friendly and fun team environment with ongoing training in advanced nursing skills. Generous remuneration commensurate with skills and experience, including penalty rates for overtime and after-hours work.

Responsibilities
  • Overnight nursing of hospitalised in-patients and emergency cases
  • Support incoming emergency cases and provide high-level nursing care during after-hours shifts
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Qualified with experience in overnight care; ability to work autonomously and multi-task
  • Experience in a specialist centre or emergency department environment is ideal
  • Available to cover annual and sick leave on relatively short notice; casual nurses considered
