Marion, Australia Fresh Careers Full time

Eldercare is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in South Australia, with 13 residential aged care homes. Our workplace culture embraces teamwork, innovation and a dedication to our purpose of delivering peace of mind with our care.

  • Various Locations available - Cottage Grove (Woodcroft), The Lodge (Wayville), Allambi (Glengowrie), Trowbridge (Payneham South)
  • Part-time or full-time
  • Reablement and rehabilitation focus
  • Competitive remuneration rates plus up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging

At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. With a gym at each of our facilities, and a thriving reablement program, our Physiotherapists tackle frailty through intensive 1:1 reablement programs and ongoing group-based exercise.

As a Physiotherapist at Eldercare, you will work in a large, multidisciplinary environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and Dementia Specialists. You will offer supervision and direction to Mobility Assistants, to promote mobility and exercise for all of our residents in the pursuit of individual goals.

Our Physiotherapists utilise their full range of clinical assessment and treatment skills and enjoy having the time to support residents to achieve their potential. Our team culture embraces innovation by adopting evidence-based and emerging practices into our service model.

Professional support is offered by our two regional Allied Health Team Leaders, and ongoing professional growth is enabled through bi-monthly meetings and the opportunity to develop and implement new practices.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration (limited registration therapists will also be considered)
  • Have a passion for healthy ageing and empowerment
  • Be committed to ongoing learning and development of your skills
  • Demonstrate behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection.

If you are looking to join our team, we will provide you with a supportive working environment that will care for you as an individual, and as a therapist. We will reward your commitment to our residents and Eldercare's values with opportunities for career growth, and collaboration in the development of our service.

For more information, please contact Shereen Sam - Team Leader Allied Health (South) on 0414 566 749.

Eldercare encourages you to apply if you are a committed and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes whilst modelling the behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection.
