About the Role:We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer(Mid-Level) to join our team. This role will support complex technical work involving large-scale data systems, particularly those handling high-volume data across cloud platforms. You will work on data management, ingestion pipelines, and transformation solutions, contributing to critical cloud migration and modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- You will be responsible for managing diverse data systems, ensuring efficient ingestion, transformation, and optimization.
- This includes developing and optimizing complex SQL queries in Snowflake, implementing scalable DBT models, and designing robust ingestion pipelines from various sources.
- You will fine-tune queries and data models for optimal performance while contributing to CI/CD pipelines for seamless data workflows.
- Additionally, you will assist in migrating legacy on-premise systems to Snowflake and Azure, while implementing best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and DBT.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud data migration and modernization strategies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data ingestion pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data performance.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices for data workflows.
