Overview

Greencross Holden Hill is seeking an experienced and passionate veterinarian to join our close-knit, high-performing team. This flexible part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week) offers a balanced mix of consulting and surgical duties. We're looking for a confident and capable veterinarian who can hit the ground running and contribute to our clinic's continued growth. Ideally, you'll have at least 2 years of experience, be comfortable with both surgical and consulting responsibilities, and bring strong communication skills along with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Greencross Holden Hill is a genuine, down-to-earth clinic where the banter is as strong as the medicine. Our clinic is purpose-built and fully equipped with everything you need to thrive: ultrasound, X-ray, dental X-ray, capnography, ECG, suction, in-house pathology machines, and a microscope for detailed diagnostics. The layout includes 2 consult rooms, a treatment area, a sterile theatre, a radiation room, and separate dog and cat wards to ensure patient comfort and smooth workflow.


Responsibilities
  • Provide veterinary care with a balanced mix of consulting and surgical duties.
  • Be confident and capable to hit the ground running and contribute to clinic growth.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or similar examinations. For further information, please refer to the AVBC website: avbc.asn.au.
