On Site Service Technician – Boggabri Mine Site

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specialising inengine repairs and maintenance. This is an on-site position for our Boggabri Mine site, you will be housed and based in Boggabri. Requiring to be on site at the Boggabri Mine Site directly representing Cummins.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Deliver a first-class service to our mining customer at Dawson's mine site
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the workshop and field
  • Diagnose and repair engines
  • Inspect and replace components as required
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Complete required documentation
  • Working on and maintaining OEM's – Komatsu 830E's Fleet, Fleet of Excavators. Hitachi and more

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)

Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
