Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist/Nurse/Rehab Counsellor

We are Tasmania's largest injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider, dedicated to services unique to the local Tasmanian community. TWS is growing and seeking a dynamic allied health professional with a passion for injury management and workplace rehabilitation to join our team. We are open to candidates who are Psychologist, Nurse, Rehab Counsellor, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Occupational Therapist. This role offers variety, autonomy and flexible working hours, with full or part time arrangements available.

Overview

This opportunity will deliver holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will assist injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace and the community, improving wellbeing and purpose in life.

Responsibilities
  • Workplace rehabilitation services in line with your scope of practice, such as:
    • Initial Needs Assessments
    • Workplace Assessments
    • Advice concerning job modifications
    • Rehabilitation Counselling/Vocational Assessments
    • ADL assessments
  • Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison and case management services
  • Support needs assessments
Qualifications
  • Full registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA)
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and pride in a job well done
  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
  • Current Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
