The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an empowering individual to lead the educational practice of the service, supporting Educators to deliver high quality early childhood education programs for children in a safe and respectful environment.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead the design and implementation of approved curriculum within the Centre and maintain up to date knowledge about National Quality Standards and related regulatory standards. You will also build strong relationships with parents and regularly discussing their child's progress.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds the following qualification:
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent degree) recognised by the National Authority; OR
  • Diploma in Children's Services and current enrolment in Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

You will have the following skills and experience;
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in an early childhood education setting.
  • Sound knowledge of National early childhood regulations, standards and approved curriculum.
  • Team leadership skills, including the ability to effectively mentor and supervise the reflective practice of others in the workplace.
  • Strong skills in building respectful relationships with children, families, staff and community members.

Benefits

This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $77,319.42 to $79,969.34* gross per annum, comprising of:
  • $1,327.60 to $1,373.10* per week base salary
  • $159.31 to $164.77* per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
  • Remuneration is dependent upon level of qualification.
