Overview

Door Maintenance Technician to join the Doors Team in Newcastle, NSW. You will manage the equipment and servicing of KONE Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Gates across low-rise housing through to the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns on Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Gates
  • Install Automatic Door shopfronts
  • Attend to maintenance activities and repairs
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
  • Maintain customer relationships in the local region
  • After hours callout service
Qualifications
  • Automatic door, roller shutter or gates industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Exposure to breakdowns is highly advantageous
  • Electronic / mechanical mindset
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
  • Availability to work away
  • A customer service mindset
  • EWP / Working at heights licence preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A Full Drivers Licence
  • Flexibility in participation in a rotational on-call roster
