The organization follows an Integrative Practice Framework to guide young individuals along a personal growth journey. Safe Places for Children UK is focused on achieving positive outcomes in a therapeutic setting through dedicated staff members.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Residential role located in Townsville, QLD. The Residential Youth Worker will be responsible for providing support, guidance, and mentoring to young individuals, implementing youth programs, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the residents.
Essential Criteria
Two years of full-time experience working with young people exhibiting challenging behaviors, preferably in a children's residential environment
- Proficient in crisis management and one-on-one engagement.
- Possess a Minimum Level 4 Diploma and a valid UK or ROI driver's license for over 12 months.
- Capable of obtaining international police clearance and meeting state check requirements.
- Eligible to work for Safe Places for Children in Australia with the appropriate Visa
