Job detailsEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Order dental and office supplies. Maintain and order supplies. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Educate patients concerning oral hygiene. Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant. Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays. Schedule and confirm appointments. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures. Take and develop X-rays. Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Accurate. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
