Express of Interest: Marketing Specialist (Southeast Asia & China)

As our Marketing Specialist, you will take the lead in building brand presence and driving growth across China and Southeast Asia. From shaping digital campaigns on platforms like WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and X, to collaborating with regional partners and influencers, you'll craft strategies that truly resonate with local audiences while aligning with our global brand vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Regional Campaigns: Build and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns tailored to China and Southeast Asia, driving awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Social Media & Digital Platforms: Manage and grow our presence on platforms like WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and X, ensuring content is culturally relevant and engaging.
  • Market Research & Insights: Translate consumer trends, competitor activity, and cultural nuances into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation & Localisation: Develop compelling stories, visuals, and video content tailored to each market—balancing brand consistency with local preferences.
  • Influencer & KOL Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders and influencers across the region to amplify brand reach and credibility.
  • Collaboration Across Borders: Work closely with product, creative, and sales teams to deliver integrated campaigns that support both regional and global objectives.
  • Performance & Analytics: Measure campaign effectiveness using KPIs such as ROI, conversion rates, and engagement, adjusting strategies for maximum impact.
About You
  • Experience: 3+ years in marketing, with proven experience in China or Southeast Asia markets—particularly in digital and social media campaigns.
  • Cultural Fluency: In-depth understanding of consumer behaviour and cultural dynamics in China and/or Southeast Asia, with hands-on knowledge of local platforms.
  • Creative & Strategic: Able to balance data-driven decision-making with fresh, innovative ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and functions.
  • Tech & Tools: Comfortable with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, WeChat Business Suite, Hootsuite).
  • Proficiency in another Asian language is highly regarded.
