Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new customers by performing all sales activities, including proactive lead generation, developing strong business relationships, closing deals, and pipeline management. Your primary objective is to drive growth and expansion by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Your role involves fostering strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and promoting our services to property developers, strata corporations, and real estate agencies.

This role can be based anywhere in QLD, from one of our offices.

About the role:

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Proactively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat referrals through area mapping and networking.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to identify client needs, qualify, probe, scope, and sell Bright & Duggan Group services.
  • Manage and assist in developing business and marketing plans in coordination with management to achieve revenue goals.
  • Assist and manage research into the market to identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify prospective clients and explain the advantages of Bright & Duggan's service offerings.
  • Respond promptly to client and potential client queries related to Bright & Duggan.
  • Undertake administrative work for business proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients, and industry trends.
  • Maintain a database of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Assist with cross-selling opportunities among different branches and manage the client relationship management database.
About You:
  • Proven success in business development.
  • Strata or Real Estate experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
