Exercise Scientist role at Kieser Australia involves client training supervision and strength assessment in a science-driven rehabilitation environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting 1:1 and group training sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients on the training floor
  • Applying scientific concepts such as biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control to support clients
  • Providing evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance
  • Developing and implementing exercise prescriptions and plans for clients
  • Establishing, assessing, and reassessing goals for new and long-term clients
  • Guiding athletes or clients to achieve peak performance and recover from injury
  • Completing administrative duties
  • Delivering high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise/Sports Science or related discipline with at least two units completed in Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement, or Exercise Programming/Prescription, or currently undertaking third year or higher in Bachelor of Physiotherapy
  • Relevant placement/practicum experience in Exercise Prescription
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Desirable: 1-3 years relevant work experience, private practice experience, and experience in long-term client management in strength training
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: 60,000 AUD – 85,000 AUD per annum
