Exercise Scientist role at Kieser Australia involves client training supervision and strength assessment in a science-driven rehabilitation environment.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Conducting 1:1 and group training sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients on the training floor
- Applying scientific concepts such as biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control to support clients
- Providing evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance
- Developing and implementing exercise prescriptions and plans for clients
- Establishing, assessing, and reassessing goals for new and long-term clients
- Guiding athletes or clients to achieve peak performance and recover from injury
- Completing administrative duties
- Delivering high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise/Sports Science or related discipline with at least two units completed in Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement, or Exercise Programming/Prescription, or currently undertaking third year or higher in Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Relevant placement/practicum experience in Exercise Prescription
- Valid working rights in Australia
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Desirable: 1-3 years relevant work experience, private practice experience, and experience in long-term client management in strength training
- Salary range: 60,000 AUD – 85,000 AUD per annum
