As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll work across both John Hunter and Calvary Mater Hospitals as part of a highly skilled imaging team. You'll contribute to a patient-first service culture built on strong communication, collaboration, and professionalism.
You will gain experience across all areas of the department, including:
- PET
- General Nuclear Medicine
- Hotlab
- On-call duties
We're seeking a motivated new graduate who is eager to learn and grow in the role. You will be:
- Equally confident working independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
You'll take part in a comprehensive training and orientation program designed to set you up for success. Senior staff will support and mentor you throughout your development, giving you the tools and confidence to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science - Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by AHPRA and current registration or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a current EPA radiation license (S14, IA16 or IA16D.).
- Participation in the general and on call roster to provide an adequate service to the hospital.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
