About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

We are seeking a dynamic Hourly Paid Instructor to join our team on a casual hourly-paid basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality training and assessment within the Automotive program, with a particular emphasis on Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant. The successful candidate will leverage their industry expertise to support students through flexible delivery methodologies.

Selection Criteria

• Relevant industry trade qualification (or equivalent) in Certificate II Automotive Servicing Technology, Certificate III in Light Vehicle and/or Mobile Plant disciplines.
• Must hold an RTO approved Training and Assessment qualification of TAE40116 or later.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

• The Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is engaged on an hourly paid basis. Maximum engagement is 400 hours per calendar year.
• Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
• May be required to facilitate at several campuses within TAFE SA.
• This role requires flexibility around timetabling.
• Eligibility to work in Australia
