Our flagship Mergermarket and Debtwire NextGen platforms provide market intelligence and news content to our clients. We're looking for an experienced Content Editor to join our team in Sydney.
About the Role:
- Edit M&A-related and regulatory news content for our flagship platforms.
- Identify and edit key time-sensitive market intelligence and prioritize publication.
- Ensure the accuracy of information gathered by reporters, ensuring all published content adheres to our coverage criteria and is relevant to our readers.
- Work independently and in collaboration with a wide team of reporters and analysts across regions.
- Be open to working flexible shifts and on-the-job learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- A passion for journalism and editing.
- Experience in reporting and editing for financial news services, newspapers or online publications.
- A postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.
- Research editors/copy editors at business intelligence-focused organizations, news publications/magazines, credit agencies or city editors who have experience in covering market intelligence can also apply.
