This project is in the proposal stage, and we are awaiting contract award.

This position will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their Joint Department of Defense Program in Alice Springs, Australia. The individual in this role will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc., and provide the services outlined below.

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Practitioner committed to delivering high-quality healthcare and enhancing patient well-being across a diverse population.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical services comparable to those offered by the USG Facility Medical Officer (FMO) during clinic hours and after hours as necessary.
  2. Obtain patients' health histories and perform physical examinations.
  3. Diagnose conditions and counsel patients on treatment plans.
  4. Prescribe medications in accordance with state laws and professional guidelines.
  5. Maintain problem-oriented health records for each patient, adhering to Health Information Management policies.
  6. Ensure continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services promptly.
  7. Deliver excellent customer service to assist patients with healthcare needs.
  8. Arrange referrals for services not available on-site.
  9. Review incoming reports (e.g., labs, x-rays, EKGs), sign, date, and follow up promptly.
  10. Assist in updating protocols and practices as needed.
  11. Participate in outside medical public relations functions.
  12. Commit to ongoing learning and staying current with medical advancements.
  13. Complete required organizational compliance training, including client-specific requirements for certifications such as Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
