About the Role

We are seeking an experienced media and public relations professional to join our Global Public Relations team as Assistant Vice President, Public Relations for Asia Pacific. This role will focus on developing and executing global PR strategy for State Street across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the internal global PR team, global marketing and external PR agencies to create, refine and deliver differentiated media-driven activity in support of the firm's corporate PR strategy and State Street's individual business units' objectives.
  • Develop media campaign strategies around the business' latest thought leadership topics such as asset stewardship, retirement, emerging markets, quantitative investing and private credit.
  • Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and partners to align PR strategy with business objectives.
  • Independently own programs/campaigns from concept through to execution.
  • Compose and edit content including press releases, bylines, talking points, media briefings social and digital media.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of direct experience in communications, media relations and/or public relations fields.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with executive PR and media relations programs.
