Your role

Responsibilities

  • Gaining exposure to multiple processing plants, with four plants producing over 5mtpa combined.
  • Participating in plant optimisation and all processing functions.
  • Involvement in metallurgical procedures and sampling.
  • Receiving mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals.
  • Developing into a well-rounded Metallurgist for a long-term career.
About you

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
