Overview

Join a Graduate Speech Pathologist program kicking off January 2026 with roles available in Penrith. You will be supported across all steps of your journey to develop clinical expertise across the NDIS and the community. Role involves working with participants from age 6 to 65 across language, mealtimes, dysphagia, aphasia and AAC.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients\' homes to day centres, parks and clinic rooms.
  • Collaborate with a committed MDT to develop innovative solutions for clients.
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.

Our Program & Support
  • Graduate-specific induction week covering community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab.
  • Supervision: 1:1 discipline-specific Supervisor to guide you through all areas of working with Better Rehab and your transition into fulltime work, including clinical support within the NDIS and caseload.
  • Ongoing Training: 6 months of induction, training and upskilling.
  • Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year.
  • Resources: Laptop, phone and therapy/assessment resources ready to use.

About You

Speechies with a genuine interest in supporting participants with disability who strive for improvement and advocate for participant goals as personal missions, not just checkboxes on a form.

You Will Also Hold
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with a graduation date in 2025 or January 2026.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
