Recent changes to the organisation have resulted in the creation of this critically important new role. of General Manager Clinical Services to lead the clinical teams into the future.

About the Role

As a critical Executive team member, reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all clinical services, including Speech Pathology, Listening and Spoken Language, Audiology, and Hearing Screening.

As General Manager:

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary clinical workforce across Queensland.
• Drive clinical governance and risk management to ensure the highest standards of safe, person-centred care.
• Develop innovative, sustainable service models that expand access and impact.
• Partner with the CEO to grow Hear and Say's reach—doubling revenue and centres in the next five years.
• Embed a strong culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government, funders, donors, and sector partners.

About You

You are an inspiring and strategic leader with experience driving clinical services in complex healthcare environments. You bring:

• Proven senior leadership experience in health, disability, or related services.
• Strong expertise in clinical governance, risk management, and service reform.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets while achieving growth.
• A record of workforce development, team engagement, and succession planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (postgraduate preferred) in health administration, management, or a clinical field.
• Membership with Speech Pathology Australia, Audiology Australia, or an equivalent discipline.
