Our Role: As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you'll ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with families, ensuring every child feels a profound sense of belonging and is supported to thrive. Your passion for teaching will shine through as you mentor and inspire educational practices in your room, collaborating with our centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, achieving outstanding outcomes for our children.
About Goodstart Forest Gardens:
- Goodstart Forest Gardens is a 100-place centre featuring seven spacious rooms, including a Kindergarten room accommodating 22 children.
- The Kindergarten Teacher role offers six hours of flexible programming time, with the option to complete these hours from home.
- Our centre comprises two buildings: Babyworld, which hosts two nursery and toddler rooms, and the Main building, which includes Senior Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten rooms.
- We are conveniently located near local shops, schools, and parks, providing a peaceful, natural environment that fosters strong community connections.
- Our dedicated and experienced educators are committed to delivering high-quality, play-based learning programs that support each child's development and school readiness.

- Competitive pay - you'll get paid well above award and receive a package comparable to state primary school teachers (our Graduate Teacher starting salary is $80,000)

You'll need:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
