
Home Care Support Worker

Job description: Are you passionate about helping others? Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we invite you to explore opportunities within our team and help support elderly customers (65+) to live independently at home.
Requirements- Live in or near Bega including surrounding suburbs Bournda, Brogo, Candelo, Nelson, Mogareeka, Numbugga, Tathra, Tarraganda, Wallagoot, Wapengo.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (we cannot accept International licenses or shared/rental vehicles).
- Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers).
- Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported). Travel is required for training.
- Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.
- Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates
- Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
- Permanent Contract hours: 20-30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
- Hourly Rate: $30.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
- Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties and social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
- Most importantly: be a friendly face and brighten someone's day.
As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.
