  • We are offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist in our Musculoskeletal stream at Caulfield Hospital.
  • Position details:
    • Fixed term (Maternity leave commencing 4/7/2025)
    • Full Time (80 hours per fortnight including ADO)
    • Part-time and job-sharing applications considered
    • Physiotherapist Grade 3 Classification (VB7-VC1)
    Department Overview

The Physiotherapy Department at Alfred Health provides acute and subacute physiotherapy services across multiple hospitals, specializing in areas such as rehabilitation, aged care, neurology, orthopaedics, amputees, burns, and more. The department manages the hydrotherapy pool serving over 250 clients daily.

Position Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our amputee rehabilitation program, manage a clinical caseload, mentor staff and students, and contribute to operational leadership and research activities. You will work closely with the Stream Leader to enhance service delivery and team development.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Physiotherapist in Victoria
  • Post-graduate qualification or working towards it
  • Advanced skills in amputee, burns, or musculoskeletal rehabilitation
  • Experience in caseload management and team supervision
  • Understanding of outpatient processes and funding (e.g., NDIS)
