Sunstate Cement is looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment
• Fault-find and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, fans, and other machinery
• Support projects, shutdowns, and plant upgrades
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster and occasional weekend work

What Werom Looking For

• Mechanical Trade qualification (Fitter & Turner or equivalent)
• Experience with plant/machinery maintenance (compressors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of WHS in heavy industry
• Team player who can also work independently
• IT skills: MS Office and asset management software

Essential Licences / Certifications (essential Or Willing To Obtain)

• Qld Driver's Licence
• HRW Forklift & CB Bridge Crane
• Working at Heights / EWP
• Dogging & Basic Rigging
• Confined Space, HV Functional Switching, Low Voltage Rescue
• First Aid / CPR
• MSIC
