Overview

Food & Beverage Manager (Winstar World Casino) at Legends & ASM Global. This role oversees daily front of house operations, employee relations and engagement, P&L, inventory controls, and guest experience for Winstar.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the food and beverage outlet staff to ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service
  • Interact with guests to answer questions, advise on menus and beverage selections, ensure satisfaction with food and service, and address complaints promptly
  • Maintain staffing plans and schedules to ensure proper coverage for all shifts
  • Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Manage inventory: daily, weekly and monthly tracking; work with Purchasing for supply requisition and delivery schedules
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs (food, beverage, supplies, utilities, payroll)
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Complete financial and HR/Payroll administrative duties accurately and on time per policies
  • Supervise cleaning tasks and adhere to health standards
  • Foster positive working relationships to support morale, productivity, and efficiency
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment; complete accident reports as needed
  • Oversee supervisors and staff; keep Directors informed of issues and take corrective action as needed
  • Attend weekly operations meetings and assist with catering events
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
  • College degree is preferred; Bachelor of Science in hotel/restaurant management desirable; combination of experience and education considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience in a fine dining restaurant
  • Must be approved for a Chickasaw Vendor gaming badge
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, inventory management, sanitation, service standards, staffing and payroll/financial reporting
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; multitasking and delegation skills
  • Genuine interest and knowledge in food and beverage, wine and cocktails
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • People management experience: scheduling, attendance, performance, interviewing, training
  • Ability to think on your feet under pressure with attention to detail
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to read P&L reporting
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
