The Role

EPEC\'s Finance team is looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will take ownership of processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency—keeping everything running smoothly and in line with company policies. You\'ll be part of a supportive team that values strong financial controls and works to elevate the entire Finance function.

Initially offered as 6-month fixed-term contract, there may be opportunity for the successful candidate to convert to permanent as EPEC continues to grow rapidly.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain strong financial controls and support the Finance function
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant payment processing
Qualifications
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred, not essential)
  • At least 2 years\' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, MYOB, or SAP (a bonus)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Payroll experience is a plus—but not a dealbreaker
