NBMLHD has on offer a Permanent Full time position for a Radiographer to join the Lithgow Imaging Radiology Team. This opportunity will see you provide a high-quality Medical Imaging service across a range of clinical areas that is patient focused, according to the objectives and policies of NBMLHD and to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service, using current medical imaging safety standards.

Your role as the Medical Radiation Scientist (MRS) is personally accountable for their work and professional conduct and shall adhere to the Guidelines for Professional Conduct for Radiographers and Radiation Therapist. Within this position you will demonstrate the ability to perform high quality Diagnostic Imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures.

What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Degree in Medical Radiation Science and current registration with APHRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography)
  • Current I14 Radiation Licence from NSW EPA
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment including areas such as General, Mobiles, Theatre, Trauma Radiography and some exposure to CT
  • Demonstrated understanding of WH&S and infection control in a radiology context
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage time effectively in a clinical environment
