We are looking for a dynamic and organized professional to join our team as an Assistant Procurement Officer.
The successful candidate will assist the Procurement Manager in ensuring smooth procurement operations, process vendor registrations and purchase orders, and support the RFQ process and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning and execution of procurement activities
- Process vendor registrations and purchase orders in a timely manner
- Support the Request for Quote (RFQ) process and vendor management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and systems
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to achieving savings targets
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external vendors
- E nsure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), ERP systems, and Ariba
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
