A Fixed-Term opportunity with flexible work arrangements within a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service for 2 years.

VPS Grade 5: $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation.

About the Business Unit

This position will work within the Employee and Workplace Relations area of People, Safety, Culture and Communications. The HR Business Partner's core functions include managing workplace culture, providing advice on managing people, resolving conflicts, performance management, early resolution of workplace relations issues, change management, workforce and succession planning, health, safety and wellbeing, and culture. The role partners with senior executives and stakeholders to implement HR initiatives that increase engagement and capability.

About the Role

Some of your duties will include:

  1. Providing expert HR advice to assigned client groups and stakeholders within the Department through a HR Business Partnership model.
  2. Assisting, mentoring, and coaching managers in employee relations matters and identifying options for early resolution of workplace issues.
  3. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor on complex strategic and operational issues.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  1. Extensive experience in delivering organisational development projects.
  2. A strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Experience in providing advice on workplace matters, performance management, workplace change, employee development, and industrial relations.
  4. Seasoned experience in delivering HR services in a large, complex organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • A qualification in human resources, organisational development, business, or other relevant fields.
