Position: Prison Cleaner

Pay Rate: $31.21 per hour plus Superannuation

Location: Karreenga Prison and the SESG Training Centre, Lara, VIC

Morning Schedule: Monday to Friday
  1. 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  2. 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
You must be flexible and available to work either shift.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the prison, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers.
  • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, staircases, and surfaces.
  • Bio-cleaning might also be required at times.
To Be Considered For This Role, You Must:
  • Have a reliable vehicle and a full Driver's License.
  • Be physically fit, able to kneel, lift, perform the required duties, and stand for 4 hours or more.
  • Provide a recent National Police Check and an Employee Working with Children Card.
  • Successfully pass a medical assessment, as well as random drug and alcohol tests.
