We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vet Nurse to join our close-knit team at Greencross Ltd in Cannington.

The clinic is located within a busy Petbarn retail store, creating a network of engaged pet owners who refer their pets to us for care. With experienced vets and nurses on hand, this is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse to utilise their skills and contribute to our team's success.

About your role:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized care to patients and their owners
  • Care for, handle, and clean animals as needed
  • Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Perform general nursing tasks, such as pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, emergency, and critical care
  • Conduct minor procedures when required
  • Provide reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting, and discharging patients

About your qualifications and experience:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing
  • Possess an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Demonstrate good organisational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Show flexibility and adaptability in a team environment
  • Familiarity with RX Works is advantageous but not essential
