About the role

Reporting to the Outbound Manager, this Pick Packer role is to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking and packing.

This role is based in Rocklea QLD. Morning Shifts Available.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain the warehouse and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Ensure quality assurance guidelines are followed (HACCP, SQF etc.)
  • Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required
  • Physically fit to safely perform manual handling tasks, including but not limited to lifting boxes, in line with workplace health and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker for a minimum of 1 year
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Industry experience in food service/hospitality is highly regarded
  • Forklift license is highly regarded
  • Physically fit to safely perform manual handling tasks
