We are expanding our partnerships team and have an exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious and passionate Partnerships Manager to join the team in either Melbourne or Sydney.
You will be responsible for managing an impressive portfolio of corporate partners with many exciting opportunities to grow and nurture through excellent relationship management.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy, the Partnerships Manager is responsible for:
- Leading and managing mission-critical corporate relationships, ensuring each partner receives the highest quality relationship management,
- Growing and nurturing our existing corporate partnerships,
- Encouraging businesses to take part in key corporate fundraising events throughout the year,
- Increasing revenue through identifying areas for growth within each relationship,
- Arranging and attending regular meetings to increase partner engagement,
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to retain current partners,
- Driving and supporting the activation of partner campaigns and events,
- Working collaboratively to draft and implement commercial contracts as necessary, and
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders including our volunteer branches.
About You
The successful candidate will need to deliver:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Proven account and strategic relationship management, experience and success in driving revenue,
- A tenacious, 'can-do' attitude, with a drive to deliver commercial results and meet KPIs agreed with your manager,
- Demonstrated success in supporting fundraising events in areas such as sponsorship and campaign-management,
- Ability to effectively communicate with all level of stakeholder, both internally and externally,
- Confidence in providing an outstanding experience to our partners, ensuring ongoing & meaningful relationships with the ability to recognise opportunities or problems when dealing with clients,
- Pipeline and budget management experience with proven results in meeting or exceeding targets,
- A background in corporate partnership development and relationship account management from within the not-for-profit space or a commercial setting is desirable,
- Strong commercial acumen, and
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the private sector in Australia.
